Sigi Schwab
startet his musical career by studying Guitar and Double Bass at Mannheim University. He performed in a great variety of bands (New Orleans-, Dixieland- and Swingformations, Folk Music, Rock'n Roll, Blues, Modern Jazz), but also played classical Guitar with Chambermusic-ensembles.
He recorded more than 15.000 tunes with well-known Orchestras and Artists.
Sigi Schwab composed music for countless TV-Sequels, Films, Theater, Ballett and Performances and Chamber-Music. He is the only european Guitarist beeing awarded the "Ovation Award". Besides the Classical-Ensemble, the Diabelli Trio and the Percussion Academia - until Guillermo Marchena died - Sigi Schwab now performs with the Percussion Project.
Ramesh Shotham
Was born in Madras/South-India. He started his musical career as a drummer in a Rock'n Roll Band. With this band he toured the indian subcontinent for several years. Back in Madras he intensively started working wirth the Tavil - a drum from the traditional Temple-Music. Later on he studied classical Percussions at "Karnataka College of Percussion" in Bangalore teached by Masterdrummer T.A.S. Mani.
1981 he came to Europe with "Sangam", an Indo-Jazz-Fusion Band. Since then he works and lives in Europe. He perfomed with the leading european and american Jazz- and Fusionsmusicians like Charlie Mariano, Chris Hinze, Jonas Hellborg, Rabih Abou Khalil, Embryo, Sonny Fortune, Glen Moore etc.
